Thoibi Rublaitus, Ed.D Principal

Dr. Thoibi Rublaitus /ToyBee Roo-BLY-tus/ was born and raised in India. She moved to the United States in 2005. She started working as a part-time ESL teacher at Corona-Norco Adult School in 2007. In 2016, she was appointed as the Assistant Principal and promoted to Principal in 2019.

As an immigrant, Dr. Rublaitus appreciates the challenges of navigating the US education system. She understands the needs and predicaments of adult learners as she worked as a Barista at Starbucks and had four part-time jobs during the 2008-09 economic recession. Her passion and goal as an adult educator are to provide learners the support they need to make their time in the school meaningful,  empowering, and upskilling.

Mrs. Marci England grew up in California and lived and worked in many different states and abroad. She is a mother of four children and understands the needs of parents in the school district. She has worked at Corona-Norco Adult School since 2007 as an ESL Teacher and coordinated the ESL program before being appointed Assistant Principal in 2022. 

Mrs. England is an expert and a pioneer in just, equitable, inclusive practices in the adult education field at the state level. Her work in training adult educators across the state is noted as exemplary. She is also a firm believer in integrating innovative practices in adult education.

Mrs. Carmel Danieri has been a Counselor at Corona-Norco Adult School since 2001. Her passion and mission are to support every adult student to visualize and help them achieve their goals. Success stories such as these impel and inspire her: 

"I had a successful career in banking for over twenty years but couldn't get an interview because I didn't have my diploma. After completing my required courses and receiving my letter of completion from you, I could proudly apply without any shame". ~Former Student.
